on one of my webpages, my background color is showing up green, its supposed to be lavenderblush but it isn't.... you can see the page here ---> http://www.etoile.brad.com/members/main.html

perhaps find the true hex code for "lavenderblush" and apply that to your coding.

example....
#ff0000 is red.
#0000ff is blue.
and so forth.

perhaps something like #cc99cc is close? change this...
<body>
<body bgcolor=“lavenderblush”>

to this...
<body bgcolor="#cc99cc">

it's still all funky looking. like on the same page ( http://www.etoile.brad.com/members/home.html ) pw is penguin it looks really weird, and then on my blinkie tutorial page ( http://www.etoile.brad.com/members/blinkietut.html ) the background is cyan and so is the text, even though I know I'm using the right hex color codes. Help pls!!

ok first of all, you have your page starting with a javascript password prompt. leaving ti impossible for peopl eto actually access any part of your site to make their membertship. at least i cant seem to do it. and second of all withotu seeing your page, we have no way of telling you.

im trying to help as well but..i cant see ur page. Can you plz post the password then change it cause its impossible to see whats wrong. The only thing i can guess is that u got the hex code wrong you should prob look at it again..

i entered the password on your site right, but it kept popping back up. you might need to check that too.

ppl i changed the pw after the last post but on my secont post i gave you the new password its penguin and no if you entered the correct password a small alert box will come up and you can enter the site.
