Before I start I am not sure if this should be in here if not sorry.

I am going to make a site about the up and coming Xbox360, but I have a proplem, I dont know what to call it.

Has anyone got any ideas?

A gaming site.. hrmm

Well choose a random object say.. "apple" and put it next to xbox

360Apple

etc. Just choose some random like that, it's quite brandable if you do that too.

Try to avoid Microsoft360, MicrosoftXbox360 and those sorts of domains. Only because M$ can take them off you in a heartbeat if they wanted to.

Xboxland sounds good, but It's got to be taken surley? Your a little late, all the good 360 domains like 360Gaming.com and such are taken :(

I'm not going to get a .com or something like that, I might do that later on.

are you gonna get a .tk domain... but they do put tons of ads on and I don't like them; i have a .com and .tk

I wont get a .tk I will either leave it as it is or get a .cjb.net one

I fully agree, spending just $8.95 on a small domain package/yr is worth it.

have fun with the ads. BTW, i have heard of a free type of domain which doesn't put ads on your site... i think it is a co.nr domain...

CJB put ads everywhere....

Loads of people who run their own sites will host you. All my sites are hosted: www.pure-radiance.com is owned by my friend and she would probably host you [she hosts my personal site]. Loads of personal sites and networks will for free. Just look around :D

My old site was hosted with cjb.net and there was only a banner add at the top, but I know host it with another one and there are still ads but only one at the top. Also I am looking into getting a domain for my current site (Not about xboxes) when I am 16 (Less than I month to go).

xboxland sounds good, it could catch on I guess, and as for cjb.net its ok too just has alot of ads but better than .tk and as for buying a domain, dont do that just yet i mean lots of people cant afford to do that, go ahead and start your site maybe and then once it gets going and gets more popular you can start applying at sites to get hosted ;-)
