I have recently been asked to design an html newsletter. I have the layout and the text in place, but whenever I try to mail it, the images disappear. To make them appear, I have to re-insert them into the html page while it's open in the email browser.
Is there an easier way to fix this?

what are you using to create the pages and what are you using to mail it, please?

Thanx

I'm creating the page in FrontPage and emailing with Outlook. Although I have also tried creating the page in GoLive with the same result.

I should have also asked what OS you use but...try this..create a folder specifically for all your images and html page, create your page in Front Page saving all to that folder, go into Windows Explorer and open that folder, on the menu select Edit>select all, then Edit>Copy, then click on the plus sign all the way to the following folder, "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery", then right click & paste. Click on the folder and you will see all your stuff in there. Close Windows Explorer.
Which Outlook? Outlook Office or Outlook Express? either way....this is your next steps...open Outlook and on the file menu select Message>New Message Using>Select Stationary, when the window pops up select your html file. Everything should appear in the display window. Fill in the to & the subject and send....

Hope this helps

Ok thanks. I had set up a folder structure for my images and I guess that doesn't work so well when you email. Anyway, I dropped all my files into one folder and then re-inserted them into the web page. Now Frontpage is sending the entire page, but my headings are being reformatted in the process. For example, one of my titles is set at size 5 Times in white, but when it's sent, it changes to size 2 Ariel. How do I stop that?

BTW, Im using Windows 2000 professional with Outlook Office.

You said you were sending via Outlook. The instructions I posted were for Outlook not Front Page. Dont use Front Page to send it, use Outlook as there are other factors involved when sending with Front Page. If you want to use Front Page then please visit Microsoft for the full instructions on how to do this. You can also ge the full instructions there for how to send via Office Outlook. It's really too long to post all that here.

I was using Outlook to send it, but there was just no way I could make it include the images. I followed your instructions and it looked as if it worked, but anyone I send it to still cannot see the images.

I've been all over the MS website looking for help, but I can't seem to locate what I need. Would you happen to have a link to the right spot?

I'm tearing my hair out.
