Ok, does anyone know how I can figure out who's ip address one is?

If you want to find out your own go to www.whatismyip.com
For other people, some counter scripts will log IPs, but with that there's the problem of figuring out exactly which one you're looking for.
Comment/guestbook scripts can you, if you can get them to leave something on there then it's easier to get the IP that you want

See, I had a person sign my guestbook with a not so nice message. They didn't leave their name, but my guestbook provider, Bravenet, shows the ip address. I just wish there was some way for me to figure out who left the message by their ip address.

There really isn't, just ignore it.

I wrote a tutorial on this forum on how to locate a users internet provider and/or email they used to sign up for their isp... To locate them, use Tracert in Command Prompt.

Have fun trying to get a approval from the judge for retrieving those information from the provider ;). luckily ip adresses are still pretty anonymous otherwise internet would be a lot less fun if everyone could retrive information about that the user using this ip.

You can go to www.whois.com, but when you try to look up someone, you get their ISP. For instance, when I look up myself, I get AOL's address and all.
