Does anyone remember how they became 'integrated' into LEIA? I was trying to remember and I realised I couldn't really. Also, now coming to LEIA isn't so much fun anymore. why :P There're

Man, I don't know either.. Though I think I've been here for two or three years.. Right when I was beginning with HTML. I think what I did though was google-searched "html help" or something and LEIA came up... and ever since then it's been awesome to have a place where you can get help with this kind of stuff :D

LEIA was the very first HTML-related Web site I ever visited once I realised I wanted to learn more during my Neopets phase. Needless to say, I do remember looking at the forums when I was younger and thought, "What the heck is this?" It looked so intimidating at that age (which was maybe 3 years ago?), I was not familiar with forums at all. Anyhow, I decided to browse LEIA again randomly in late 2004, and here I am. =P

I was sent here by my friend when I was making my first website almost a year ago.
I don't really have any fav memories, but I recently got into a forum I wasn't supposed to. :D

One of my friends told me about the site, because we were both starting out in web design. Years later I noticed there was a forum :P

Someone I talked to regularly playing yahoo pool told me about it. I had regularly been talking about my expages site, haha anyone else start with them? Anyways they told me about Leia and I decided to check it out and now here I sit one of the forum regulars lol.


Edit: Wow I just checked that page I made it in 2001 and it has 115 whopping hits, lol....

I had been using the site for help with my website for a while, and hadn't noticed that there was a forum until March 2003, when I joined. I was really quite annoying when I started out on the forums :lol:

I think my mom had searched for html help websites when I was learning how to make websites out of a book. LEIA was the best one she sent to me :) I joined the forums a couple months later.

I think no matter what, I'll always have some kind of weird mind pull to the forum :P I feel guilty when I don't check it more than once a day. I liked the first GMA's that we did, the ones like "Most Helpful" etc. :)

Oh gosh, I attempted a personal home page when I was about 13, and I named my page Seedless Strawberry :lolol: I did a google search and made sure it wasn't around XD

I got here through a Hanson fan site *hides in shame*. Then I got addicted before I even started posting. When I signed up I accidentally said I was under 13 and couldn't get access for weeks :lol:

Favorite memories would have to be stealing cheese from starlet (and other members) then taking off in my helicopter. April fools jokes are up there too.

When I started messing with web design again, I couldn't remember the basics so I did a search on google and LEIA was one of the first results. This is the first forum I ever came to... I don't even think I knew what a forum was before this LOL!

I remember in the early early early days before I was a mod...I needed help with something on my site to do with tables so I posted a thread and it got edited and the link removed because the content 'wasn't appropriate for under 18s' so I got annoyed and posted it again and asked that anyone OVER 18 could help me...totally missing the point of why the link got removed :lol:

Also i remember when i had a crappy 2 frame layout with bright blue background and dancing elmo...and I complained i didnt think it was very good, Lissa said she liked it and I thought it was the coolest thing ever that Lissa from Lissaexplains liked my layout! hehe

I was reading Making Cool Webpages for Kids or something like that, and there was a couple of examples, and LEIA was one, so I went here and I learned alot more than all the books I've read put together, lol. I didn't notice there was a forum until, say a year later!

Oh, yah, one last word, thanks Lissa, or I wouldn't be able to make websites!

I don't really remember how I joined :P I remember that I joined, went through a phase of signing my posts "<3 Munchkin"....and then kind of disappeared for a while...then I clicked on the link for the forum one day, and tried to sign up....you can imagine how surprised I was when it said I already had an account :lol: I was like..."What? When did I make this? and more importantly, WHAT WAS I THINKING WHEN I CALLED MYSELF MUNCHKIN????"

I found the link on a friend's website. After I looked through the site, I decided that I had a question, so I found the forum and joined it. :)

I found LEIA on a google search...I think. I don't really remember how I found LEIA, but I do remember that I registered for the forums because I had troubles with a style sheet.

I got to the main site from one with lots of animated gifs :lolo: Can't remember exactly how I found the forum, but it wasn't long after I first found the site.

I kinda miss how Chat used to be, lots of hijacking, the fun games like LEIA millionaire and the Genius Award one.... Two years ago it would take me ages to go through the chat section (especially in summer) because everything was actually interesting to read, now I just skim over half of it!

I miss, when there was only the Chat, Fiction and Rant sections under Misc, and I miss before XaNgA people started bombarding the forum lol

when i was like 11 i worked on a webpage for my group of friends.. it was terrible, i think i called it the boris clan or something! :O ahah. and so i needed some help so i searched for html help for kids and i found LEIA :) and then i realized there was a forum like 2.5 years later :P
