Hi people! :)

At the mo, I only make brushes for PS, but some people have asked me, s icne they use PS, if I could make something for them as well.

The problem is I dunno how! I guess I have to change the exetnsion from ABR to ... something.

Is there any way I can do this without using PSP?

You will need to save them as .jbr for them to be brushes compatible with PSP.

jbr is for v7 and under and can only be exported into the earlier versions.
but it's cool. Just remeber that the abr brushes can only be single brushes and saved in a lower version to work in psp. (see saving options) After the brush is created just click on the .abr extention and change it to .jbr. Newer ps versions dont work correctly in psp after the change.

hope this helps

you can stamp the brushes in PS and save them as a PSD and then open that in PSP and select all and save it as a custom brush.

Ok, so I have all my files as ABR right now. And I tried to change the last three letters, the extenstion to JBR. and this is what it said:

IF YOU CHANGE TEH FILE NAME EXTENSTION, THE FILE MAY
BECOME UNUSABLE. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT?

So, am I supposed to choose yes there.? How do I know if it'll work for PS users, since I can't test it myself when id on't have PS?

Rosey - I don't have PSP.

do just one, say yes, this message appears whenever you change an extention.
How will you be able to test it though if you dont have psp?

Most folks allow the downloader to do the changing when then dont have psp.
As long as the .abr is a single brush it can be done.
If you like you can download the trial version of pspv9 from corel. It's good for 30 days.

well like lana said, you can get it for 30 days or you can offer the images and people can just change it themselves or if you have a friend that has psp. I mean, if people want them bad enough, I'm sure they'd be willing to change them in their psp. That's my 2 cents.
