Yeah, I just wanted to see who uses AOL. Yes AOL is probably, if not the worst browser on planet earth!

apples to oranges.

IE, Firefox, Netscape, and (I assume you mean) Opera are browsers, AOL is not.

but of the actual browsers, I like Firefox best.

I'm going to complain more about how many threads there are on this topic. 3 of them in the same section, pathetic.

I use IE. I will admit FF is the best of them because of features but I just can't get used to using it over IE.

I've used AOL before and I hated it because of all those parental controls. I use IE and I really like it so I say IE. :) But I've never tried any of the other browsers.

Yes AOL does not have its own browser. Its run off IE. So, In order from the title:

ok, rox, crap, good, double crap.

After I started using FireFox, I couldn't imagine how I ever got along with IE! I can't stand having multiple windows open and I have gotten used to that with FireFox. I tried Opera recently because FireFox kept deleting my bookmarks but the free version of Opera has ads at the top and the browser area is too small for me. Until IE does tabbed browsing, I'll stick with FireFox (not to say I would even use IE if it DID have tabbed browsing...).

ok, rox, crap, good, double crap.
That's a matter of opinion, and I'd really appreciate if you didn't express it in such a fashion.

People are entited to use whatever browser they want and I'd personally be offended if you told me that my preference was "double crap."

IE for me...firefox is growing on me since I runs better on this computer (it used to be really slow and buggy on my old one and thats when i started using it) but I still prefer IE and can't wait for #7 to come out :D

I wonder if a lot of people who have switched to FF will switch back when IE7 comes out, hmm.

I've used all of the above, Firefox is my favourite by far. Opera has the potential to be a nice browser, but like MB I didn't like the ads in the free version and there wasn't enough window space, and I'm not going to pay for a browser when I can get one for free.
Tabbed browsing in IE would make it a bit nicer to use, except I still wouldn't be able to block ads like I do in FF ;)

I enjoy firefox the most, I have all the main browsers. (IE, FF, NS and OP) also, NetScape uses tabbed browsing, but I don't like the 8.0 version with the fancy skin, I'd prefer a normal look.

Correction, AOL IS IE. Sorry lefty, I guess you could say I prefer Firefox :D

I like AOL for various reason, but not as a browser (which it's not, as already stated). I've tried Netscape several times (my grandfather's computer has just about every popular browser on it, lol) and never liked it. I'll admit that the last version I tried was pretty decent compared to the older ones, but it's not for me. I tried FF to check my own websites, and just saw it as a waste of space on my computer (my opinion, so don't jump on me). I prefer IE :)

There's a difference between the built-in browser that comes with AOL Internet service and AOL Explorer, which is a new IE front-end, I believe (not too sure, but I think I'm right).

AOL has had a browser for a long time as far as i knew. Yes it does use IE for the rendering engine, but they have still had their own overcrowded, useless, crappy browser since almost the beginning. My cousin has AOL, and in order to maximise speeds, they have to use the AOL browser.

I like microsoft. Sun Microsystems won their antitrust case against microsoft, so IE7 should have a few improvements in java as well as many other things.

Also, how can someone say that netscape sucks. I for one, really like the new netscape browser. The ability to switch between rendering engines is shear genius. If i had to ditch IE, my next choice would probably be the new netscape.

Safari for me. It's so fast! I tried firefox and it just didn't really work very well. And the layout is a little silly too.
