How can i get a brief description to appear of a link when the mouse pointer is hovered over that link? Exactly like what happens in this forum when you hover the mouse pointer over a link. I have used "alt" which works fine in IE6 but not in Firefox. I have even used the title attribute but i must be doing something wrong. Could someone help me out here please. :bow:

Title should work in both IE and Firefox.

did you type alt= or title=

alt is for images.
title is for links.

You mean the A tag, for links? You'd use title.

Like if you put mouse over a description in a yellow box comes up. May I ask you another question. On Neodragonriders.com there are avaters how do you make the description box blue?
