Hey all! I need help...

I'm making a fanlisting, and I need a simple-to-use email form for people to join/update on.

I don't really want to use the enthusiast script because it just confuses me... :S

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it!!!!!!!!

there is an email form code on lissas main site and plenty more on the web if you search google or something.

If it has this code at the top however "action=mail-to" then i suggest joining bravenet because mailto doesnt work on all brousers and basically its just so much cimpler to use bravenet.

Allright... I'm gonna use Lissa's script... but I'm having problems with the "action" field.

What I want is for the information a visitor inputs to be sent directly to my email. but I don't want to use "action="mailto:..." because then the results are sent using outlook or whatever... and most people don't use that for their email purposes.

Is there anyway that I can have the information sent directly from the webpage the form is on to my hotmail account?

2 options.

1. use your own PHP or CGI script if you host allows it. you may find an "easier setup" one by doing a search, but kinda hit and miss.

2. you can sign up for bravenet and use their ACTION value to process and send the info to your inbox. easy setup.
