Hello,
I come accross a basic problem in photoshop and am looking for some help from gurus like you.
I cut a small image of a butterfly on a big jpg file then just would like to put it up on another layer, am wondering how can i fade teh cut scars around the butterfly so as to make them as smooth/compatible as possible with teh underlying layer ???

use the opacity bar on the layer box to fade..
