Hello everybody! I have just opened a site, and it is my first.. I have read some tutorials here, and I got this (http://www.ffmagic.com) far.... Now, I want to lay out some content for FFX

And this is the place where I can't get any farer.
I have smart FTP, and I hoped that some of you guys/girls could help me. I have just made the content with Notepad
Now what?

I don't actually use Smart FTP but it should be like any other FTP.

You see a left screen and a right screen. Find the file you want to upload in the left screen, set the format to ASCII or Binary, and then click the arrow pointing to the right screen. It should be uploaded after that.

Binary >> Pictures, images
ASCII >> CGI, PHP, anything else

Actually, SmartFTP is slightly different. :)

In the right window you see the files that are currently on your webspace. Right click anywhere in that window, go to upload --> direct --> select files... and pick the files you want to upload. They should show up on the list now.

Hm. Only thing I can think of is if you've just opened your site, it's possible the servers aren't ready yet, etc etc. Is your main HTML stuff in your index.html page?

by the way, you can't have images in your signature. ;)

Also you have to make sure all of the links and names are correct, but you probably knew that. ^^ Most every web site is case-sensitive. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever seen one that wasn't...
