If you go to ftp://yoursiteurlhere.com, then you can do FTP as well...in fact, I prefer that to any other FTP client. *ducks head in shame*

you could download an FTP client which is much easier (go to smartftp.com, its free and easy to use)

I recommend WS_FTP LE. You can find it here:

i also reccomend ws_ftp or just using the browser way, they are much more simpler!

if you don't need to chmod but just upload simple .html files and .gif and .jpg files then iw ould suggest the browser thing

it's just copy and paste... more easier isn't available!
