Okay- I know, it's not HTML, but I use the HTML source code to place it on my website. But I need help on one part, it is: How do you place pictures on Microsoft Word website using like a free website hosting like www.freewebs.com or www.tripod.com ? Since I did the pics on Microsoft Word, but they did NOT upload on the website.

What microsoft word outputs is not valid and is VML, which isn't very good. To add an image put <img src="filename"> in your code.

1. as previously suggested, please do not use WORD for creating or editing webpages. it creates many errors and problems beyond belief. instead, just use a simple text editor such as NotePad and then test the created file in the browser. lissaexplains is a great learning site to go forward from there.

2. you will need to use an actual FTP program if the online host does not provide a file upload area in your user area. if you do a forum search here for FTP programs, there should be a few posts already talking about various ones. it is a program that connects your computer to your online hosted area directly so you can transfer files back and forth. any images used on webpages must be uploaded as well as the webpage file itself.

Would Microsoft Frontpage work? Since I'm really not into doing all the codes, and seeing it when finished & all that complicated HTML, and the Microsoft Frontpage gives you a visual of your site, and the HTML to paste on the site.

frontpage is better than word, but will still create errors.

FrontPage is pretty much just... eww, IMO. Why shell out money when you can use a freeware alternative? Nvu (http://nvu.com).
