Hello all. I'm really new at this. Every time I try to upload a document, it doesn't work. So then I scan it into my computer as a picture and then I am able to upload it. When I do, however, it comes out huge. Is there an easier way to do this all?
Well, thanks for your help!
Alex

Every free homepage provider only allows you to upload certain file types. Such as .htm, .html, .mp3 etc. You need to read the F.A.Q. page or help page that your homepage provider has made for you. If there is no mention on those pages simply email the webmaster and ask him. But this won't always get you answer. Some providers ignore free users.

Help pages are your friend. They didn't put them there for decoration. :)

I know that you can't upload documents. I already read that, but I was wondering if there is another way to put documents on my page. I also emailed the webmaster and he referred me to this site. I read through this site and there isn't much mention of how to remedy the problem.

if a "zip" type file is allowed, then that may be an alternative.
zip is like a folder. put your files in, upload, link to it. the visitor then downloads, unzips, and reads the documents.

otherwise, if you want it displayed on your pages, then you will have to transfer the docs into an html page.

your webmaster person should have given you any alternatives available considering they are the ones more knowledgable in your situation.
