I coded my xanga in Firefox and it looks like this

but when I open up Inernet Explorer, nothing shows up the same way (background, colors, fonts.ect). What did I do wrong?

you probably did nothing wrong, some things don't work in IE that work in firefox and vice versa

how can I make them look similar?

Did you change anything...? because your screenshot and the way it looks on my firefox is completely different. Does it change when you refresh the page?
