i use psp7 and every time i click on the pattern styles to select the glitter an error message pops up saying 'Paint Shop Pro 7 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' then i click the don't send button and it kicks me out. anyone know why this might be. and i find it's only with certain glitter gifs.

Remove those glitters from your patterns folder and sees if PSP errs again.

Most likely it is having a problem, as suggested by Tokyo Bleu, with one of the patterns you have. If you remove the problematic files, it should run without an error. I would begin by trying to remove the most recently added patterns and, if that doesn't work, give a holler and let us know.

and my names come out fine. i thought it was b/c her glitter gifs are 60x60.
but if use other glitter gifs that are 60x30, the error shows. so in animation shop i copied and pasted each 60x30 glitter frame to a 60x60 frame. I put together the 3 frames and they animated just fine. i went back into psp and tried the new frame as my pattern and it gave me the same error.

Maybe it's actually a corrupted font file... whatever your CURRENT font is in PSP, you should remove it.

Do anybody know how to make glitter names without using PSP or photo shop. i was on a site that showed me how to do it without using PSP but i can't find it now. But if anybody know how to make them without using PSP can u help me.

I don't think you can make animated text without using an animation program...

i solved my problem, i upgraded to psp8 and it works fine now.
