I understand how marquees work, and I'm not asking for anyone to explain anything...I just need to know if a marquee can possibly go slower than "scrollamount=1"...

I'm using the marquee for lyrics to go with music on my site...I know that the words won't exactly be with the song...but I need them to go slower than "scrollamount=1" because they're just too fast for the song now...

No can do, sorry to say. But you can use JavaScript to Change the words in tune with the song. Or, you know how on sing-a-longs, they have the words at the bottom of the screen with a little bouncing picture lighting up the words?, you could make an animation in tune with the song. Javascript would be easier. If you don't know Javascript, I could work something out, I'd need the times at which to change what, though.
