they made buttons that have an on Keypress code, attached to the arrows, and the button checks if you press the arrow, and when you do, the movieclip with the frog probably just goes to a certain frame where the frog does it's movements etc. etc.

If you're new to Flash, this would be very hard to program. If you've been playing around with Flash and know a bit of actionscripting, you can probably do this.

edit: I looked at it for a bit more, there's more to it than I thought at first, but I think it can be done nonetheless. It's definitely not for beginners though.

I think he's talking about the file size?

Well you have all of those games on one page and it has to load every single one of them so it might not be that the game is a big file size and won't load, it might just be that there are a bunch of other games it has to load. A pre loader would also help. You can get a drag and drop one that you just stick in the first frame, HERE (http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm#view=sn106&viewName=Exchange%20Search%20Details&loc=en_us&authorid=35419575&page=0&scrollPos=0&subcatid=0&snid=sn106&itemnumber=16&extid=1007460&catid=0)

oops sorry hehe it was late

I would need to see the fla file to see what there is that can be sized down. How big is it anyway?
And Joel is right, a pre-loader is always a good idea.

Ok thanks, I'll add a preloader, and think about separating them because I know what you mean about that. I might see if I can compress it all.....

Well If You used Simple Action Script or if you are using MX you can change the action script version to 1 then when you publish it click on Use Flash Player 6. Then Click Compress Movie BUT IT HAS TO BE ACTION SCRIPT VERSION 1

Or Is That Professional Only? (I Just Recently Upgraded From MX to MX Professional 2004 Without The Trail I Don't Know what MX 2004 is Like)
