I entered my ftp information they way my host said to do in the email. I also made sure it was on pasv. There were no folders so I made one called "public_html" I uploaded my index page and I uploaded greymatter (since that's the news system I want to *try* and use). But when I typed in the url I keep getting a 404 error page.

Any ideas why? I hope someone can help me with this confusion, lol. Thanks a lot :)

Maybe you didn't need the public_html folder? Usually when a subdomain is set up, all the necessary stuff is already there. Try putting your info in the space where there was nothing and see if it works that way.
