Now, on this site I made, there's this dude who purposely takes heaps and heaps of my images to waste MY bandwidth. I can't stop direct linking, because my site is a design site. How do I get their IP address?

Aren't they blogging programs? I want to find somebodys IP, not post to my blog and say 'somebodys closed down the site because they took all my graph ics and wasted bandwidth'.

maybe you can ask him to click on a button and then sends the ip to you. do you agree with this idea? if so, i will let you the link to go to the button thingy and you tell him/her to click on the button. i will let you know his/her ip address here.

People must have been confused because of the poll.

no you can still do it with greymatter. has the user who's been annoying you posted a comment? because with greymatter, it will log their ip addresses if they post a comment. and it also has a feature that will block their ip address built into it. phpbb forums are the same way.

They DID post a comment... and their IP adress is there! I'm the happiest person alive! I used the .htaccess to block 'em! Now my site is back up! Woopee!
