I'm currently using active guestbook on my site but I don't like it, not really.

I have problems with the fact that it doesn't validate well.

So... I was wondering where I should go to learn to code my own guestbook.

Can you help me/point me in the right direction?

I honestly don't know what to do or where to look.

But, I am up for the challenge.

I'd learn PHP and MySQL. I'd probably buy a book about it, but if you want to learn from online tutorials I'm sure others will lead you to them. :)

yea php i think is all u need to learn

webmonkey.com is the easiest place for a quick start into php

i learned cgi but quitted in the middle because my scripts were looking too tacky and it is extremly hard.

PHP is probaly easier to use.
