What's your favorite old-school video game? I prefer the older stuff to the stuff now, because now all the games are "kill kill kill!" and I don't see any point to them beyond blood & gore. How is that fun?

Anyway, old-school stuff. My absolute favorite game is Tetris, follow closely by Arkanoid.

I used to always play Hugos House or Horrors on my oooooold computer. It rocked.
On regular nintendo nothing beats Bomberman!
In an actual arcade - Pacman :P

Sonic for me too.

On Playstation I like the original King's Field.

The Wizardry games are pretty okay.

We never had Kirby; I don't know why!

I recently (as in, in the past 2 years) got addicted to Zelda... for some reason I didn't have the game growing up, but I recently bought it on ebay and I love it.

Mario has always been my favorite. :buckt: The N64 was our first console, and it came with Super Mario 64. Then I got one for Gameboy. :) *hums the Mario theme* But now our poor N64 is dead... :viola: :crying: I miss it...

There's nothing wrong with a "KILL KILL KILL" game... I play em all the time.

However, the Zelda series is the supreme classic game. And why didn't anyone mention Mario Party? That's a hoot with 4 people.

My brother used to own Duck Hunt. I thought it was horribly violent, in my innocent 5-year-old way.

And I've realized that this comic (http://qwantz.com/index.pl?comic=531) talks about Duck Hunt in the most descriptive way possible.

I used to watch my brother and his friend play Mario and Zelda (there weren't really any other games TO play) all the time when I was little. I never played myself, but I would watch them play for hours.

The only old-school console game I remember playing is Duck Hunt, which I do miss dearly.

Other than that... uh, does Pokemon Stadium count? Haha.

OMG!! I LOVE that game!! I have them on my current computer but naturally they don't work =/

Old school... hmmm... there were a few games on Commodore 64 that I used to play a lot. I can't remember the names now tho =/

Then there is always pacman on the Atari, and there was another game on Atari called Carnival. That game was really fun too!

For Nintendo... hmmm... I can't recall any games that I just really loved.

For Super Nintendo, it was one of the Donkey Kong ones. I think it was the second one?

We also had a Game Gear. I was the poo at Columns! I also liked to play the Sonic Game for it =)

After that, nothing is really old school anymore (to me)

I just sold my Sega Genesis this past weekend at a yard sale. The guy who bought it said Sonice the Hedgehog was his favorite game.

My favorite was always Maniac Mansion for NES.
