I'm making a site to use as my computer's home page. I want a search bar that searches just like Yahoo!. What's the script for this?

many major search engines have codes that you can put on your site that provide a box to search the Internet using that search engine. if you want your very own (not using an existing search engine such as Yahoo, Google, etc.), you won't find a simple code- you would need to reinvent the wheel so to speak- you would need to spider the Internet and create a database of links- I wouldn't even consider it an option for you. so try poking around on whatever search engine you like best and you should find more information about putting a search box from them on your site.
