I uninstalled flash, and I'm trying to reinstall it. On the website, it has this little "movie" that tells you if it's been installed. It doesn't show up, so I assume it hasn't installed. I have no idea how to solve it. I've looked at the troubleshooting guide, and tried various things. It's still broken. Anyone have a clue?

I had the same problem and went around in circles with their FAQ/troubleshooting pages.

I tried this and it worked. Go to the URL below and under where it says "Solution", click on "Download the the Flash standalone installer" and download/run that. I didn't receive the error message they are describing - in fact I didn't receive any error messages at all, just couldn't view any Flash material at all, on any sites.
