I just bought Paint Shop Pro Version 9 the other day, and I have no clue what I'm doing. I want to make a web layout with it, but all the tutorials I find are really confusing. I've never had a graphics program before so, well, yeah. I also wish to make banners and buttons and avatars and all that good stuff. Can anybody help me? Please? search on "#NAMEHERE# tutorial" and replace #NAMEHERE# with the thing you want to make (expl. banner, avatars)

basically there is no real tutorial for banners and avatars though. They are just images. You make a new file (file > new)
fill in the height and width.
Then fill it with a color, draw a border around it put a graphic on it and save it as an image. that's all really ...

it takes time to learn stuff. Don't expect to make beautiful layouts within a few weeks ... you first gotta learn the basics before becoming advanced
