I'm looking for an easier way to update my news page. I tried blogger but I couldn't get it to work. I could really use some help.

blogger is the best way, actually. What host are you on? See if your host has FTP access. If not, try here (http://uk.geocities.com). Its easy and fun. I love blogger.

PS: If you use regular geocities.com, it won't work. :)

if you have your own domain, or your host will allow it, a great option is greymatter. Blogger is down a lot, but greymatter is hosted on your site, so it's only down when the domain is down. You can download the software at http://noahgrey.com/greysoft/

i love blogger.com because it's easy, simple and no problems with the different templates like header, footer etc like greymatter has. If you don't care to learn something for it then go ahead with greymatter, but if you want to just edit and post then i would say go along with blogger.com because it only uses one field for the template, where the whole HTML goes into

Personally, my favourite has got to be Greymatter byt if your host has PHP support, then I'd recommend B2 (http://www.cafelog.com).

I also forgot to mention pMachine (http://www.pmachine.com) and Textile (http://www.textile.com).

Can anyone give me some good instuctions on how to use blogger? I want to insert it into a page I already have but I have no clue how to do this.

u have to go on to the template thing and paste your html code in there, then paste the blogger tags where u want your updates, news whatever to go

Also what is this CHMOD ### i've been seeing. How do I do this? I'm trying B2 right now and its saying something like that right now.
