in photo shop 7.0 i have a brush i want to upload BADLY!!!!!! but its saved as a jbr. and i cant get the load brushes thingy to view jbr. i want those brushes baddd!!!! help!! it'll only view abr. =[=[=[=[=[

its from lush brushes if that helps any and i use WinRAR to unzip it

Rename the extension to .ABR. It might work, it might not.

This might not work but rename it to .abr and see if it works,if it doesn't then no surprize there.

A .jbr file is from Paint Shop Pro.. I don't know if it will work with photoshop.

how do i change the extension exactly? i tried to by using the way i do when changing gif. to png. but i tried this time and it only had jbr. and all files as an option

right click on file
choose "rename"
change extensions
hit "return" key ...

and NEVER do this with images....changing from .gif to .png is a way to "convert" in your graphics program, not just by the way i told above.

Uh how does that change the extensions thats only the file name?

Okay, so this is an example of your file name. "brush001".

Right-click on it, select "Rename", then type in "brush001.abr".

so simply typing in abr. on the file name will change the extension...never heard of that one.

Well, that's how it works when converting from .ABR to .JBR, like mentioned before, it might work, it might not.

well it DID change it to a jbr. thanks a bunch for that i think i was being kind of sutbborn on that one but it wont load onto photo shop =[ i guess the files whats the messed up thing
