how can i do this on adobe photoshop 7?

I think lines are made by stroking it.

it looks like they have a bevel and emboss on it... just right click on the text layer and choose layer styles and then select bevel and emboss... Now don't just check the check mark, actually click on the word so that you can edit the options. Just play around with it until it looks the way you want.
