I cannot get a border around my picture. I have no idea why! I feel so dumb. Help.

i know this sounds dumb, but are u sure you have a darker background so you can view the border, because it is set to be white?

do you have a style sheet on your page?
if you do and it affects images, the code there might be overriding the code you posted
i agree. very odd there is no border appearing on your original try. is this the page you are referring to?

Yes, that's the page. Weirdly enough, I tried the other code and it worked.
Do you think it was my CSS that messed it up? I'm curious why it wasn't working.

and the border IS there...
maybe it's too small for anyone to see
here try to change the border from 1 to 10. i bet you'll see the difference in it
