Okay, i got hosted, and i have to use FTP to upload my things, i dont know how exactly to do it. Can somebody give me a quick overview on how to do it? how to upload things? I learn quickly so pleassssse i really need the help!

there are loads of tutorails on the ftppanet website.

you'll need an ftp client. i use these (depending on my mood :) but i prefer dos)
dos - (comes with windows)

dreamweaver - (comes with dreamweaver)

all (except dos) you'll see a left and right half. one side will be the server and the other will be your hard drive. if you want to put files on the server just drag and drop the files from the hard drive half to the server half. do the opposite to get files from the server. be carefull though once the files are overwritten you can't get them back.

you can also highlight the file you want and click on 'put', 'get', '<' or '>' depending on how your ftp client works.

with dos it's by command line, which is a little more harder.

I never downloaded anything for my FTP, windows should come with one already, IIS, Internet Information Services under the administrative tools. It has a help part to it so you know how to do it. You set a folder as your website, the first page is the main page and you save your page as index.htm.
