I just got photoshop and I realized I dont have an 'effects' tab... I dont know what happened. Maybe I did something. If you could help me out that would be great. Thanks

Effects as in?

Image effects for things like blur and such are under "Filter"

Do you see other little boxes with other tools?There might be a restore tool to get your effects tab back.:)

The Effects tab is not there. You know how there is a 'filter' tab? Isint there supposed to be an 'effects' tab in which you can get to 'frames' and stuff? Here's a screen shot so you can see what I have right now.

no, theres not supposed to be an effects tab.

As for what you are thinking of, under the "Window" tab, there are several things you can bring up with boxes, for information like layers, channels, a pixel navigator, and much more. Hope that helps.
