i need help with making layers i have nooo idea how i tried a tutorial but it wasnt very specific can someone help

You said Adobe Paint Shop Pro... Adobe doesn't make Paint Shop Pro, they make Photoshop... So, do you need help with Adobe Photoshop, or Jasc Paint Shop Pro?

Well, when you say "help with making layers" what do you mean? To make a new layer hit shift+ctrl+n.

I can help! I use Photoshop CS but they are basically the same. On your "Layers" pallette, at the bottom, there should be a row of six little buttons. the 5th button is a little square with what kind of looks like a page curl. It is between the little trashcan and the circle that is half black and half white. This is the "New Layer" button, and there should be a tooltip telling you so. Clicking this will make a new layer.

You can also go to Layer>New...>Layer... or press Ctrl+Shift+N the difference is that both of these will bring up a box with options. All you will need to do is click ok.
