Paint is pretty limited though, but it can still make a layout. But because you want "glittery" stuff or whatever, here's other programs: The GIMP (http://gimp.org) Adobe Photoshop CS2 (http://adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp#product=39) Corel Paint Shop Pro 9 (http://corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Trials/Login&pid=1047023911984&cid=1047024437292&lang=en) benlikestennis 06-10-2005, 09:18 PM Oh right ok. go to http://www.serif.com You can download a free version of Serif Photoplu which i make my layouts from. It is very easy to use and make layouts. Here is a layout i made. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y284/benshtmlhelp/layout.jpg Harley 06-10-2005, 09:45 PM thanxs witch one should i download benlikestennis 06-10-2005, 10:01 PM Personally i would recommend Serif Photoplus because it is easy to use. I made my first ever layout from it within and hour. There are also tutorials on the serif website to help you if you get stuck. SnowLeopard 06-10-2005, 10:08 PM I agree with benlikestennis. I use PhotoPlus too and it's very good. Although, I don't use it to make layouts...I like code more than images :p After you design the layout on PhotoPlus you will need to code it. Just look at the tutorials here, they should help. Or you could get someone to code it for you. Harley 06-10-2005, 10:11 PM ok if i get to do the lay outs it will be the first time i do it how do i code im download ing the photo thing benlikestennis 06-10-2005, 10:15 PM To code it do the following. 1)Save it as a .jpg 2)upload it to a server 3)open up the image in your webrowser and then click edit 4)this will open up notepad or something with the code 5)You just need to then write in your code. To be able to save your image as a .jpg go to file export optimiser and then select it from the drop down menu and then click export. Hope this helps. Harley 06-10-2005, 10:16 PM thanxs ummm. on the photo thingie will it have thing for me to choose from like glittery things or will i have to upload them and go from there benlikestennis 06-11-2005, 03:13 PM They should have a glitter tool but otherise if it doesnt you have to downlaod a speacial tool which fits in with Serif Photoplus.
