I was wondering what people preferred to use for their home page? I've never used Xanga but have read good things about it. I was wondering if someone who has used both liked one over the other and why?

If you want an actual web page, go with Geocities or any other web host, because Xanga is just a blog...

Well, Xanga is more of a blog community. Its purpose is different than GeoCities; GeoCities is a Web host. Xanga allows you to have your own weblog. Xanga is more limited than GeoCities.

I have a xanga and I used to have a geocities. Personally, if you're wanting a webpage, geocities or freewebs are some of the best around. Xanga is a really good web blog, but that's all it is..a web blog.
