Is 100mb of bandwith a month alot or can I get more somewere else? I have registered with Freewebs.com (http://www.freewebs.com) and thats what they give. Can I get alot more somewere else or is that alot? I'm clueless lol!


I have just been back to the Freewebs site and found this;

Bandwidth is given in the following way:
First week of account: Provisional Status - 100Mb
After first week: Normal Account - 500Mb monthly
If you sign up for any premium service: Premium Account - 1,000Mb Monthly
If you need more bandwidth, you can purchase as much additional bandwidth as you need from your Premium Services area.


Does that mean I actually get 500mb a month??

It says for the first week you get 100MB and after that 500MB a month. And no, that's really not a lot of bandwidth. It really depends on how big your site is and whether or not you have a lot of images. I know Tripod allows 1GB of bandwidth which is around 1,000MB per month. I'm with a paid host and I'm allowed 15GB of bandwidth per month, but I only use about 3-4GB of it. But my site has a lot of images and zip files.

Since you told me it wasn't alot I have been looking round and found Fortune City. What do you think of them? I was looking at this (http://www.fortunecity.com/free.shtml) . Does that mean I get 3 GB of bandwith or am I reading it wrong again lol!
