Uploading music that isn't made by you is illegal.

Um, it doesn't matter what format it's in. I don't know about MIDIs, but if you don't have permission to upload it, it's illegal.

it shouldnt be illegal because all the songs i want to upload i paid for!

Just because you paid for it doesn't mean you can go distributing it on the Internet, indirectly or directly.

Anyway, it's better to be safe than sorry. The RIAA doesn't really care whatever your reason is.

Sometimes if you go to a site of that singer, or artist they have a preview of that song, sometimes, they'll give you the URL for your own use, and they might give you permision to have it on a website as long as you don't redistribute it, as in giving the URL out to others, By doing this you also probably won't have the whole song, as in only 20-30 seconds of it. If you do get permision to have the song that is on your computer you can search google for a host? If you want to upload a song, that you made, that actully is from your voice, and your the actual owner of that song can upload it to http://www.soundclick.com aslong as its in a MP3 format, but only if its your song, it clearly says for your own song,

I'd suggest using Filelodge.com

Setting up an account is very easy. After setting up and account, it is also very easy to upload files. It's a as simple as going to the "Upload Files" page, and browsing for the files. If you do attempt to upload a file, do realize that it may take up to five minutes just for one file, depending on your internet connection, the size of the file, etc. SO yeah, if it doesn't seem to be working, just wait a few more moments and it should work. Once it is uploaded, it will give you a direct link to the file, as well as a few other links for the file.

If you have any questions you can email me or IM me on either Yahoo of AIM.

If someone has a question, they could also ask right here on the forum. ;)

Just as well, this thread is from last year.
