I wonder how can I do something for my site too? Making my visitors be able to comment on my entries? Is she using some kind of blog or ... ?

Yes she's using some kind of blog, whether it be blogger or word press or whatever (I don't see any indication on her site as to which one she uses).

you can use http://haloscan.com/... its easy to use all you have to do is paste the code ever new post

If your host supports php, you can use it. It's quite easy to set up, everything is in the readme file. :)
