:) Hello there,
I hope you can help me, I have hit rock bottom.
I understand "basic" HTML, but im beginning to feel stupid with this "css" stuff!
My web site is www.fishingvilla.com and I need your help getting set on the right track. I was basically handed this site, and trying to get it up and running with a "good look" Im very creative and would like to use my talent. At this point i have a bunch of questions  But my main concern is the "middle" section on my page. I want to put the "top sellers" there, ( maybe a list of 10 items or so) Mambo is the program that im using.

I also want to change the "colors"/ backround on the page without moving anything. Can that be done?? If so, how?

Thank you for your time!! :buckt:

Do you know how to use "Mambo"? If not, check any guide that it has for more information. Or, make a copy of the page you want to edit (so you don't ruin the site by saving over it accidentally!) and use trial and error... mess around with the codes until you get it to look the way you want. Make sure to preview it in your browser because it WILL look different in the designing program than in the browser.

(I have never heard of Mambo so I don't know how to help you that way. )

Usually there's a part of the CSS that says "body" and there is a property in there that says "background" or "background-color" where that is, there is a color code or image code, etc. that can be changed as desired.

You can also look at a discount bookstore in the computing or similar named section for a cheap html/css book, like the one by Elizabeth Castro. I bought that at full price $31. But at Half-price books it may be half that price.

Ok..i will Look in to the "mambo" guide, ty

As far as the "css" to edit it , is it as easy as finding the "css" file in my file manager, copy and pasteing into my "html" kit and editing????
If thats a YES, how do i "preview" file ??

Then do I just save the new file....upload and override the old one, in file manager??

Thx for your time!
