ftp (file tranfer protocol) it's a how files get transfered to servers :)

Basically, you write your HTML on Notepad or whatever, and then just upload the files using file transfer protocol to your web host (e.g ftp.geocities.com). I use WS_FTP. You can download it for free at http://www.ftpplanet.com .
