I would like to put episodes of my favorite cartoon onto my site, however I haven't got the faintest idea as to how to do that. I have a DVD player on my computer and a DVD I bought with the episodes on it that I'd like to put on my site. Can anybody help me out or know somebody who can help me out with what to do?

first of all, distributing the episodes is probably illegal. before going any further, you should check on the legality of what you want to do. you should probably check with the company that owns/distributes the show.

No, I'm not distributing the episodes. I just want them to be able to be seen by other people. And I already know what I have to do in order to put up episodes on my site legally.

are you putting the episodes on the Internet? then you're making them available to other people (also known as distributing them), and that would most likely be illegal.

If I put up a right click & view source blocker, then they couldn't take them, they could only view them, right?

there really is no way to prevent anyone from getting something on your site. either way, just allowing people to view them is probably illegal, also.

Thanks for the concern. I have a friend who works with the people who release the cartoon. I'll ask him if it's legal to do that. If it isn't than I won't, and if it is legal, than I'll try to find out how to put episodes on my site.
