I believe in spirits. Only because the energy that animates our flesh is just that energy. And once you die it has to be something, you can't just destroy energy. So yeah I believe in spirits. Though like phantoms and such, is just fake and silly to me.

what's the difference between ghosts and spirits? i thought they were the same thing =/

I don't know what to think. I personally have never seen anything but you hear so many stories about people that do.

I do know that I'm scared to be in my grandma's house alone LOL! Her house was built in 1799. Can you imagine how many people have probably died there?!?! Back then, people died in their houses and not in hospitals ya know... My grandfather and my uncle both died in that house as well and it just freaks me out because I always feel like something is there. I don't know if I'm freaking myself out or if something really is there... who knows!

I know that feeling. My grandmother died in the house my dad lives in. One day I was watching TV and a toy train I had from several years before was sitting on top of the TV, then suddenly it turned itself on...! I was like, "....what the crap..."

Then there's times when I think I see something out the corner of my eye, but when I look, there's nothing there. It's like that little boy in The Grudge at the care center scene. When you walk by, you think you see something. Stop. Look. Nothing. Shrug, and walk off. Only in real life you don't see a dead girl with a missing jaw walking towards you afterwards. :P

I always think I see stuff when I really don't. I have this black spot on my eye and I can see it when I look at light colored things so sometimes it tricks me into thinking I am seeing something LOL! Or I'll think I just saw a bug fly by!

Nah, I'm only messin. You can say what you want about it, I don't care. It's your opinion. Anyways, that thing with your eye.... Has that been checked out...? I would, but my friendly house ghost says not to. He told me that it would make him disappear, and we can't have that....

I'm not positive about this, but I think Christians believe in spirits and not ghosts. A spirit is something that exists after someone dies, but it is not visible and doesn't "haunt" people. I believe in spirits, not ghosts, so I chose "spirits but no ghost", but "only spirits" is kind of the same choice.

ok i'm going to give my opinion: i believe that there is something there but not people's ghosts or spirits. I think it's demons putting on a show, same thing with the aliens. Oh yeah, i believe it about the little train coming on but I don't think it's what it appears to be.

Yeah, you might wanna get that checked if you haven't already. Seeing black spots is a sign of retinal detachment. I see black spots when I look at a bright light, but it goes away after a couple hours.

Like a floater? I have floaters in my eyes... it's really weird. Sometimes I don't see them, but I'll see little black spots float around when it's really bright or something. Apparently they're nothing to worry about :P But it's still odd.

I think that used to happen to me, only it was colored dots.

Well, weird stuff happens when i'm at work. Everyone says it's because of ghosts, but i'm sure there's an explanation for everything that happens.

I chose not sure. I have no reason to believe in ghosts or spirits and I don't have a good reason not to belive in them. I belive that your soul goes to heaven or ... the other place... after you die, but how does soul relate to spirits and ghosts?

"Spirit" and "Soul" are the same thing I think. Because its called the "Holy Spirit" not the "Holy Soul".

To the people who asked about my eye... I did get it checked out awhile ago and I forgot what the doc said. Something like there is a little imperfection on my eye on the part that you see out of so that's why it appears as a black dot to me. It's not like black black, but it's sort of transparent like those floaters that someone was talking about but it doesn't go away. So, yeah, no big deal, just freaks me out sometimes like I said =)
