I cant visit this site on my computer: Site not forum-appropriate. But i can on my brother`s. Im using firefox and so is he. What is wrong?

What happens when you try and visit it?

On mine, it is blocked by Norton Internet Security because it comes under the category of Weapons.

but i think it will probebly be your firewall, see if your brother has it disabled, or if the site is in 'allowed sites'

I disabled my firewall (McAffee) and it works. But i dont know how to unblock the site from the firewall because i want to browse with the firewall on. Could anyone help?

{EDIT: Never mind, I looked up the site`s IP on DOS using the ping command. It seemed that the site`s IP was on the Block IP list, so I removed it. Thanks for telling me about the firewall.}

Sorry for the double post, but it seems i cant block this site from my computer permanetly. As soon as i turn the firewall back on, it blocks it whenever i visit! How can i fix this?

sorry this is'ent my thread but what you said brought up a question that has been puzzling me for quite a while. how do you find out the ip address of a website?

If you have a bravenet guestbook you can find their ip out from there. Apart from that i am not sure
