Does anyone know how to go about putting credit card purchasing on a website?

It is for a photography business. They want people to be able to click on a photo thumbnail to purchase, and then be able to download the best quality version of the photo. Is this possible?

Yes it's possible, but there are things you need to take care of beforehand. One is getting an SSL certificate. If you don't have one, nobody in their right mind will give you their credit card information because there will be no assurance of security.

I've used www.mals-e.com...it's worked pretty well for me, though I've never used the credit card feature. I've only used the cash/checks/paypal options.
