If someone found out your IP what could they do with it?

It could be used to ban you from places, ie someone's site. They can also track the ISP it comes from. There may be more, but I'm not sure what those are :P

no more then what they can do to you now.

with your domain they can get your ip and with your ip they can find out where you you're located in the world, who your isp is, sniff your internet activities, hack in, dos attacks.

there's alot someone can do but they don't need you to give out your ip, all they need is your domain name. most of the bad stuff you can protect against.

Theres quite alot you can do with it, however locating you would be inpossible, it can only loacte your server. Hacking into indervidual computers takes months, but hacking into a domain is quite staight forward if you look at it. There is a great website that shows you how to hack, if i find it i'll post it and you can have a look at what you can do with an IP or domain
