I am using paint shop pro 8 and whenever I choose a font to write with only the first letter of the word shows up as the font that I chose and the rest of the letters show up as a different type of font that I didnt choose.

Heh...I gots PSP 7,and it does that a LOT.I really dont know,but what you can do is try typing what you want,highlight it,and THEN change the font. :)
