I used to cut my bangs all the time. I had a cowlick type thing, and I didn't know what to do with it so I just cut it off. Everytime it came back I cut it off again, my hair looked crazy after a while lol.

I don't see why you would get in trouble unless your parents are super strict... It's your hair.

I'm not talented with scissors, so I wouldn't trust myself on my whole head but I do cut my bangs by myself. I can cut a straight line in front of my face, why pay a hair stylist $8 to do it?

It's your hair, even if it turned out hideous I can't see why your parents would get mad at you. You'll have to live with the bad haircut, not them!

I never have,, but when my sister was little she decided she didn't want her bangs and basically shaved a quarter of her head with scissors. Right before a bitrhday party for one of her friends. My mom cried :P I think she was a bit overemotional for that :lol:

cut my hair by myself? no wouldn't do it. it would really be a big mess, who knows what would be the outcome 0.o plus i might get in trouble for doing it.

Ha...I did when I was four....that was a disaster. Apparently I "wanted to be a boy" and not a girl. My babysitter was on the phone and her son and me hacked off my ponytail and cut more of my hair off. Basically I had zigzags as well. When my babysitter saw, she freaked and called my mom, who came over. My mom still has the white blonde strands of hair somewhere.

But I'm sure it can't be that bad...like everyone else was saying...it's your hair.

I have a side fringe...i used to cut it (myself) but im growing it out now.
But if you mean all your hair ( i hope not ^__^;; )
then shud go to the hairdressers... What if it goes wrong?...won't have a hairdresser to blame.... :P

I didn't cut mine on my own... the hairdresser cut them, I just trimmed them :P

My current hair I cut myself, and I got compliments on it. I like cutting my own hair because I get what I want, not what the hairdresser thinks I'd look good with.

SuperCut's is where I go, so obvisouly i answered no.

I've trimmed it once. Occasionally I trim the front bit, because...I'm weird, lol. I've cut my Mother's hair though, it turned out good!

I need a hair cut, but I can't do anything with my hair until after the school show, so that kind of sucks.

My hair's too thick and curly for me to risk doing anything drastic to it. I do trim the split ends myself, though.

but you'll find that when you go to the hairdresser, the hairdresser'd be wondering what really happened to your hair. all the 'different layers' and all. HAHA! :hehe:

Yes I hate super cuts. And if you were going to say crap, I don't think that needs to be censored. They cut a piece of my ^^^^ing ear off. I'm ^^^^ed at them now.

I once cut my bangs by myself, and I did a good job surpringly. But then again, I had the appropriate tools too. Of course they turned out shorter then I wanted, but oh well. ^_^

plbeane, did they REALLY cut a peice of your ear off?

teensy piece, it was bleeding, though. Not like my whole ear or anything. They said, "oh, just nuked his ear a little". They didn't appoligize or anything. That I thought was pretty rude :mad:

Nah, I cut my bangs a little bit when I was, oh, 8. You couldn't even tell a difference. I was too scared to do anything more. Still am. I'm not a hair-cutting sort of person.

I cut my bangs originally and I trim them myself... they just look better that way, lol. I've trimmed my hair before (no more than an inch though) just to get rid of split ends. My hair's so long that I can't reach the back enough for a real haircut! But then it's so long that nobody would notice if I trim it a little crooked... LOL!
