If you know anything about greymatter I could use some help. I installed it and everything seemed to work ok but now I can't see my index.htm page...(which I renamed blog.htm). I did change that in the configuration files and ran the diagnostic and it said everything was ok but when I go to the webpage it doesn't work and I get an error.

I logged into my site with ftp and downloaded the blog.htm (with the new test entry) back onto my computer and it's there......so I don't know what's wrong.

Someone help please. =/

maybe leave the site as index.html or if i may ask who is your host?

It can't be that it's not writing it though because I downloaded the file and it is on there...

Oh sorry forgot to answer the second part....... My host is hostrocket.com . Btw, tried it and left it index.htm but nothing.

Try it with the .htm file outside of the cgi-bin. HTML files and the like usually don't work when inside that folder.

Thanks kitty. I was actually looking at my knowledge base for hostrocket and read that cgi scripts could be hosted anywhere on my server so I tried it by putting it all in another folder and it worked. yay! =)
