It seems every time I grid a blog, the whole background is filled with ugly little dots. It is never larger, and doesn't fit when I grid view. Am I doing something wrong?

View Full Version : Grids in PSP BaffledBunnie 03-30-2005, 11:10 PM It seems every time I grid a blog, the whole background is filled with ugly little dots. Grid view is just a way to view your graphic; it doesn't change anything. BaffledBunnie 03-30-2005, 11:22 PM The texture. I'm trying to do it like how people who make banners have it, with a square pattern. I usually use a tutorial. The picture has little dots for a grid pattern; how can I make the dots into bigger grid squares? Alcy 03-30-2005, 11:30 PM Ah, the little dots are the so-called grid texture. There should be a few to choose from (dither25, dither50, dither75), although they don't differ much. Usually, they adjust the opacity or the layer-blend type (ie. overlay, burn, hard light, etc.). There's a square tile where you can change the size; it requires that a background (not solid black): In PSP7, it's Effects > Texture effects > Tiles BaffledBunnie 03-31-2005, 06:12 PM What kind of square tile is it? I use PSP 9 so I really don't know..... Alcy 03-31-2005, 08:06 PM There's a big difference between the versions ^^; http://www.createblog.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t38751.html BaffledBunnie 03-31-2005, 11:57 PM Thanks! :D xsupersophiex 04-03-2005, 04:09 PM I know you can get really cute grids if you open up your image --> Then go to add new raster layer --> Then flood fill your image with your selected colour -->Then got to Efects-Texture effects-Tiles -->Click ok when the window comes up -->Then get your layers toolbar up (if you don't have it up go to view--palettes-layers) -->Then at the side a small layers palette will show up you just have to adjust the settings! Hope i helped :D |
