Is there any website where I can get free flash things (menus, intro's banners, buttons etc.....) but have no adverts on the flash objects themselves (I don't mind putting a link on my Links page)

www.flashkit.com has lots of stuff you can download. That's the only one I can think of right now. :)

Try GUI Stuff (http://www.guistuff.com), they've got some really good stuff for new Flash users. Lots of Menu's, Buttons and Interfaces. Go to "Tools" to create them with your colours et al. You have to register, but it's worth it.
