so I`m new to this game but I`ve been a good boy and learnt all i can about coding and developed the fledgling stages of a web site that all seems to work well...........BUT...........now i want to display it in japanese characters but i can`t seem to make it happen. Do i need a japanese HTML editor?
i have japanese windows and can do everthing else in japanese but i can`t make my web page in japanese!
Any sugestions?
Thank you in advance.

Well, if you can type in japanese, then thats all you really need to do to display it.

thanks for the feedback, maybe my explaination needs clarification.
I can make it display in japanese in the browser preview but not in the html editor. it just makes it super difficult to edit when i get a string of strange characters to work with in the editor instead of some nice japanese text.
again, thanks for the input! :)

wouldnt everyone have to have japaneses fonts on ther computer? cause i couldnt see chinese untill i downloaded them...they were just boxes...
i believe the poster wants to know... is there an editor out there so they can see the actual coding in japanese.
upon a short and quick search so far... i can see that editors will come in different languages for the menus and stuff, but the coding itself is still done in english. perhaps someone may come and provide a better light on the subject though...
It sounds like seeing the text in the html-editor in Japanese isn't working and is causing the problem when they want to edit the text. I would think that typing it in Japanese in Microsoft Word or whatever program you use to type and then copying and pasting might work.

no, if you visit a japanese site, or run your browser on a japanese proxy, all japanese characters will show up as question marks, it doesn't matter where you type it.
